C & I are in Louisville to watch the U of L vs. Florida International University at the KFC Yum! Center. Can you believe I still have not been to the KFC Yum! Center?Tonight we are staying at the renowned Galt House Hotel in Louisville, KY. It is located less than a mile away from the KFC Yum! Center. This hotel is the only hotel in Louisville located next to the Ohio River, which you can see from our room view.
Despite being an older hotel the room we are in is much larger than expected. Though it could be due to having a corner room. A word of warning: the hotel does not use fitted sheets. There is only a flat sheet between the mattress and the comforter/duvet.
Update: We stayed here again on March 2, 2013 and there were slight changes.
Bathroom product: Bath & Body Works- Rainkissed Leaves shampoo, conditioner, & body lotion
- Coconut Lime Verbena Moisture-rich Cleansing Bar
It has left me feeling very soft and smelling fresh.
Coffee: Wallingford coffee {never had before but its fine}
Used a mug for hot water & it still tasted like coffee
Bed: black & yellow comforter & small square-ish pillow.
Clean, which is a minimum requirement. The pillows are weirdly small, I have never seen ones this small. Internet: $5.95 for a basic internet & $9.95 for premium
Basic was good enough for us once it was up & running. Just had a little issue with connecting both our laptops at first. Had to turn on and off our wi-fi a few times.
