Starting early with pre-season obsession (amazing prices for great seats),
Fantasy football...
and ... Louisville Cardinals games in Cincinnati...
So I just enjoyed my first pre-season game: Seattle Seahawks versus Tennessee Titans. Though a part of me wanted to buy some souvenir, in the end I could not make a purchase when I am not loyal to a team. However, I will say that I am really enjoying the coloring of neon green with dark colorings. I kind of want to see if I can incorporate this into my wardrobe for the remaining days of summer.
So we bought tickets for the game from Stubhub, which has always been dependable as long as we research the seating charts. Our seats were roughly $37 each and in row L. Let's just say that we were so close, I could see all the details of the game. Plus I realized just how "small" the field is. 100 yard is not a lot of distance, but somehow it is so difficult to move the ball down the field.
Now I am watching the Cowboys game rather than out being a proper tourist. I think I have developed a problem, but I need to know how players are doing. After all, fantasy football this year will be mostly me. Yes, I do cheat and ask C for help, but he's the pro. However, I am playing against him in one of my leagues and he has refused (adamantly) to help me. Therefore it is my responsibility to learn all I can, in such a short period of time. But it will be worth it when I beat him!
Outside of the opportunity to pull a major upset and beating C in fantasy football, this season also means experimenting with bar food recipes. Last year was filled with a lot of mozzarella sticks and chicken nuggets style of food from Skinnytaste.com. This year, we might get the Sunday Ticket through my Playstation. Therefore we might not be lounging alone on Sunday. Most likely our league will meet up and there will be a slight potluck style dinner. Now I have to up my game, because there are some girls who have mad amazing cooking skills! For me, I will just stick to what I know... the grill (or seasoning food for C to cook on the grill). Either way I am excited about the full effect of the football season as I study for my comprehensive.
